However, the staircase is known all over the world thanks to the famous scene of the film "The battleship Potemkin", which was shot in this place. The imposing staircase has been built creating a curious optical effect: if you look at it from below you can see many horizontal lines that make the staircase seem almost infinite, while if you look at it from above the steps seem almost to disappear. One of the most popular beaches, by tourists but also by the inhabitants themselves, is the beach Lanzheron, which is located a few kilometres from the city. The Theatre, the most fascinating of these buildings, dates back to the early nineteenth century and has been one of the most important cultural points of the city for centuries. During a visit to Odessa you cannot miss at least one ballet, which will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the city.
